DB3B sounders range up to 122dB

Eatonis pleased to announce the DB3B, a high power, explosion proof electronic sounder has been further enhanced to include an extended range of certifications. The DB3B is  now CCCF, CCOE and SIL1 certified, adding to its already extensive certification list of ATEX, IECEx, Inmetro, cULus, CUTR and CQST.

the DB3B boasts superior functionality and performance, with SPL reaching 122dB @ 1m. This significantly improves sound coverage in high noise environments, and ensures that our product will be effective in almost any application. (Please note all SPL ratings are +/- 3dB). The unit is also certified for use in temperatures from -55ºC to +70ºC (-67ºF – 158ºF).*

The DB3B features control options including negative or positive switching, and a volt-free activation option. The standard DC unit provides 3 tone stages; each stage has 28 tones available which can be independently selected. With a range of pre-recorded tones, the DB3B also includes an integral volume control which is ideal when a lower output is required. The unit is provided with versatile control options allowing compatibility with a wide range of control methods and PLCs.

The DB3B can be purchased as part of a beacon/sounder combination unit (please contact Eaton for details). It is available as either a flameproof enclosure (Ex d), or increased safety unit (Ex de), as well as with protection against Gas or Gas & Dust atmospheres, allowing for greater flexibility to suit most specifications.
